Founded in 1995 under the direction of Managing Member & Broker, Carl D. Sheila Marcello serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development to Carl D. Marcello. Sheila joined the Las Vegas Development Company team in January of 2006. Since her affiliation she has become a licensed Broker & Realtor. She is responsible for overseeing and growing the Marcello Organization. She is in charge of day-to-day business development as well as project management for all current development projects.
Sheila brings considerable marketing expertise to Las Vegas Development Company. Before joining LVDC, she worked for Integrated Media Solutions in Beverly Hills, CA. from 2003 to 2006. She worked her way to Director of their Print Media Buying Department where she was at the forefront of innovative print planning, management, execution and accountability. Sheila successfully managed and tracked over 2 million dollars of media placement for clients that include, PacifiCare, Secure Horizons, Shire’s Daytrona, Cancer Treatment Centers of America and many more. She effectively increased client’s response through magazine, newspaper, direct mail, FSI’s and Co-Op inserts.
In 2001 Sheila worked as a Marketing Specialist for Test Marketing Group based out of Newport Beach, CA. She was responsible for marketing direct response products including, Tae-Bo, Smart Chop and leading VHS box sets. She also managed a 25 seat call center, assisted in the production of infomercials and created inbound and outbound marketing scripts.
Sheila graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University in Tempe. AZ in 2001. She earned a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations and a Minor in Communications.
Sheila is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Nevada Development Authority, National Association of Realtors and The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
Matt Stone joined Las Vegas Development Company in April 2002. During his tenure at LVDC Matt has primarily focused in the areas of landlord and tenant representation, commercial leasing and sales. Over the past eight years Matt has leased well over 1,000,000 square feet of retail space and has brokered several shopping center sales and land transactions. Matt currently represents 15 landlords in the leasing of 17 properties totaling over 2 million square feet of retail space in Las Vegas and Henderson.
Matt has risen to the top of his field and is respected by his peers. He is known for his high level of expertise and recognized as one of the best retail brokers in Las Vegas. Matt has been awarded the Co-Star Group’s “Power Broker” award for being among the Top 5 Retail Brokers in Las Vegas based on leasing volume for 2006, 2008 and 2009.
In 1989 Matt relocated to Las Vegas where he spent the next thirteen years working with the 24 Hour Fitness organization who acquired Family Fitness and served as a District and Regional Manager developing and managing new locations throughout the Las Vegas Valley. His duties included site selection, development, lease negotiation, and staffing. Matt was then transferred to Salt Lake City where he performed the same functions and developed three 45,000 SF facilities and managed over 200 employees.
Matt is a member of The Nevada Development Authority, NAIOP, The International Council of Shopping Centers, National Association of Realtors, Commercial Alliance of Las Vegas and The Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. He holds a CCLS certification and is pursuing the CCIM designation.

President of Land and Commercial Investments
As President of Land and Commercial Investments, Thomas Julian is a key
associate and a vital part of Las Vegas Development Company’s success.
Julian has a wealth of knowledge and land expertise which has been obtained
through working for a number of prosperous real estate firms in the Las Vegas
area. Tom has been a licensed realtor since 1988. Julian got his start at Roberts
Realty Land Company back in 1988 as the apprentice to Bob Bugbee. He then
joined Joel Laub & Associates in 1990 where he demonstrated skills in land and
commercial investments and site acquisition for a number of major companies, including Southland Corporation, KB Homes, Watt Homes, Short Line Express Convenience Stores, Wal-Mart and many
more. During this time Julian was also the key player in assembling property and negotiating the acquisition of BLM land for the master planned community which
is now known as Silverado Ranch.
In 1997, Julian branched off to form his own company with two additional principals,
Griffin, Ross & Julian. During his tenure he had great success in assembling parcels
and entitling them for their highest use. Julian became one of the most knowledgeable
Veterans of zoning and entitling property in the greater Las Vegas area.
In 2000, Julian joined Ross at Southwest Commercial to become a Senior Associate
before he became a part of the Las Vegas Development Company team in 2006.
Additionally, Tom is the Managing Member for various entities which were formed
for land acquisition, investments and/or development in the Las Vegas area. Tom has also developed and owed several Taverns with gaming and currently holds a gaming license.
He’s affiliated with numerous associations including National Association of Realtors,
Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, Commercial Alliance and is a CCIM candidate. He
also dedicates some of his free time to charities such as YMCA and St. Jude’
Restaurant Expansion Group/Site Synergy Companies
Jeff Carlis of the Restaurant Expansion Group/Site Synergy Companies has been a Real Estate Broker for over 26
years in California and Nevada. In his career he has successfully represented over 80 restaurant operators and
sold or consummated leases with another 100 plus and been involved in leasing over 1,500,000 square feet of
specialty retail space.
Mr. Carlis’ brokerage company is a national restaurant and entertainment advisory services group. His range of
representation varies from James Beard Celebrity Chef’s to some of the most recognized national restaurant
chains and nightclubs in the country.
He was involved as lead broker in the creation and development of several award winning Southern California
(multilevel urban) centers anchored by regional restaurants (brand) in the 90’s, the first of their kind.
In Las Vegas, Jeff is credited with helping create the independent restaurant trend operating in casino’s today;
working with casino management in the development of restaurants in New York-New York, Venetian,
Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Rio, Bellagio, Excalibur and Station Casinos.
Jeff’s present projects include several of Las Vegas’ most dynamic retail projects, including Tivoli Village at
Queensridge (2010) a spectacular one million square foot lifestyle center in Summerlin. He works with his retail
associates, the prestigious national real estate firm, Blatteis & Schnur Real Estate. They have leased such
projects as the Grand Canal Shoppes in the Venetian Hotel and Casino and Tivoli Village in Summerlin.
